Waterproofing Flexible Cement Based 2 Component Compound and Rubber waterproof strip with geotextile.

APLICATION

• Clean the area on either side of the crack and remove any flaking material.
• Pour component B (liquid membrane) in a suitable clean container.
• Then slowly add the component A (powder) while mixing till a fluid paste is achieved.
• Mix for a few minutes with low rev stirrer, until the mortar paste is smooth and homogeneous.
• The COPER CEM FLEX 2C should be applied within 40 minutes from mixing.
• Place a strip of making tape over the crack.
• Apply the mortar paste onto the tape and on either side up to a width of 12 cm using brush or spatula.
• Immediately place the GIUNTO BOND rubber strip onto it and apply pressure from the crack outwards. This should push any excess material out the sides while making sure the GIUNTO BOND is embedded in the mortar.
• Clean all tools immediately with copious amounts of water.
• Allow to Dry, minimum of 12 hours.
• Apply another layer of COPER CEM FLEX 2C mortar paste onto the GIUNTO BOND covering it completely.
• Allow to Dry, minimum of 12 hours.
• Paint over with 2 coats of BUFFA EVOLUTION waterproofing compound with roller or brush.

AVOID:

• Application on very wet surfaces, slightly moist will be OK.
• Application during or in the treat of rain.
• In very hot or direct Summer sun as mortar will dry too quickly.
• Do not add water to the mixture
• Do not apply in thickness over 2/3 mm per layer.
